Delivery and Shipping

All orders will be delivered the Next Working Day (via Courier), the date for arrival will be arranged with you. No live fish orders will be dispatched without Hansons Aquatics contacting you first.
Please note that in some cases orders may take longer to process but should be available within 7days, this is due to the way in which we work as we will never send out fish that we feel are not up to shipping, on some occasions it may also be due to high demand and stock.

All orders are subject to a delivery charge based on whether it is livestock or dry goods (including plants) and the package weight.
All of our deliveries are handled by APC Overnight Couriers. APC are one of the few courier companies who are trained and experienced in carrying live fish, in addition they also hold the “Livestock In Transit” certification and license.
This ensures that our customers and Hansons Aquatics can rest assured that from the point your livestock leaves our premises to your arriving at your location they will be handled correctly and with respect. We do NOT use Royal Mail or any other courier companies.

All our livestock is bagged securely, placed inside a cardboard box with polystyrene walls and then filled with poly chips to minimise heat dissipation. Dependant on the climate at the time of your order we may also place a heat pack inside the box to aid in maintaining the temperature.
